We visited to celebrate our wedding anniversary while traveling, and overall, the food was outstanding. Every dish we ordered was delicious, and everything arrived at our table quickly. Our server, Miss Hayley, provided exceptional service from start to finish. She even wrote us a thoughtful anniversary card and surprised us with a complimentary dessert, which made our celebration even more special. She was warm, friendly, and always smiling, completely changing the negative first impression we had when we arrived. The food absolutely deserves its Bib Gourmand recognition. The fried chicken was perfectly crispy, the fish was cooked beautifully, the garlic fried rice was incredibly flavorful, and the scrambled eggs were wonderfully soft and creamy. If you're visiting Taiwan, this restaurant is definitely worth adding to your itinerary. The only reason I'm taking off two stars is because of the reception staff. When I accidentally canceled our Google reservation, I immediately made a new reservation, which was successfully confirmed. However, the receptionist repeatedly insisted she couldn't find it and kept asking for my name over and over again. At first, she told us to seat outside. Later, she finally seated us, but only at an undesirable table tucked away in a corner, almost as if she were doing us a favor. Meanwhile, the window tables—which are clearly the preferred seats—remained empty the entire time, even when we left. The female receptionist who was working at the front desk around 5:00 p.m. on July 8 really needs additional customer service training. Her attitude was unnecessarily unfriendly and made us feel unwelcome from the moment we arrived. I hope the owner is made aware of this because it doesn't reflect the excellent quality of the food or the outstanding service provided by the waitstaff.
