The signature Taichung ba-wan (Taiwanese meatball) is NT$50 a serving, paired with a bowl of glass-noodle soup or fish-ball soup (NT$35 each) — a wallet-friendly combo locals know well, the glass-noodle soup especially praised by regulars.
