鈺刺身丼 is tucked in a corner of Area D on the second floor of Keelung's Ren'ai Market, posting the day's fish on a blackboard by the catch; you can pick a mixed or choose-your-own sashimi or seared bowl, with plenty of nigiri and gunkan à la carte; salmon oyakodon and the seared-engawa bowl are regulars' combos, and the miso soup is generous with fish. One diner said “this Japanese spot serves fresh, tasty sashimi and sushi, generous fish in the miso soup, reasonable prices, friendly staff, and a clean setting,” another simply “the fish belly rocks.”
Seating is the market's usual high bar stools, often full at mealtimes; one diner praised “very friendly staff, open at 9am, very clean, reasonably priced sashimi.”
