豆苜DÒU MÙ sits on Beichen Street in Puli Township, Nantou, a shop blending a soy-product store with light bites, its main draw fermented douhua, plus bottled soy milk like rich soy milk and green-kernel black-soybean milk, the shop also selling assorted soy products, dry goods, and healthy meal plates. One diner said “clean and bright, the douhua nicely chilled, richly bean-fragrant and soft, the sweetness just right, tasty.”
But flavor reviews vary — one diner said “the high reviews made me try it, and the conclusion is the douhua is very ordinary and on the firm side, with very few toppings,” another noting “the space is fairly large, but the service could be warmer.” The space is roomy, and beyond douhua it's good for grabbing bottled soy milk to go.
