埔里冰上冰（古早味吧噗） sits on Zhongzheng 2nd Road in Puli Township, Nantou, its main draw hand-made ice cream — rich flavors like taro and peanut, light ones like mango, passion fruit, and dragon fruit, also mixable into black tea as an ice-cream black tea. One diner said “the taro is rich, fragrant, and natural, a must-order,” another “a very old-time bap-buh ice, rarely found now — the ice cream is truly the real thing, a must for taro lovers, with actual taro bits.” The signature calamondin ice-cream black tea is the shop's own touted flavor.

Another warned “the dragon fruit can turn bitter, choose carefully”; on dine-in, one diner noted “the ice is the real thing, but the dine-in setting is constantly bothered by the neighbor's cigarette smoke, which really docks points,” so take away if you mind.
