Google 4.3 stars · 1,595 reviews
精武路無名燒餅店 sits on Jingwu Road in Taichung's North District, firing up the oven at 5:45am, its signature the fresh-baked sesame shao-bing — the crust dusted with white sesame and baked crisp, stuffed with a just-fried you-tiao and topped with scallion egg or a fried egg, crisp and scalding in one bite. The basil omelette, fragrant with egg and Thai basil, is another add-on regulars go for. One diner called it “a simple, tasty breakfast,” another “great value and really filling.”
There's a long line at the door almost daily — one diner advises “come before 8:30 for fewer people”; dine-in seats are only offered before 10am, takeaway only after. Closed Wednesdays and Thursdays, it sells from 5:45am until a little past 10, and closes once sold out — go early.
