玉米的調味滿好吃的，不過兩支 180 元說不上便宜。可惜玉米粒沒有很飽滿，吃起來幾乎沒肉，整體而言以這個價格來說，還是覺得稍微偏貴了一些。
老擔玉米地瓜 sits on Bo'ai Road in Caotun Township, Nantou, a small stall grilling corn and sweet potato to order, the corn brushed with garlic sauce over charcoal — a light style rather than a heavy peanut-lard sauce. One diner said “fresh, garlicky, and the corn's juicy, not that heavy peanut-lard-sauce kind,” another “the corn's tasty, the sweet potato too, and the owner's fast, no long wait.”
The owners' hospitality draws praise — one diner noted “cheap, tasty grilled corn, the owners are super nice, always offering food to try, plus good coffee”; but another differed on price, saying “NT$180 for two ears isn't cheap, the kernels weren't very plump and had almost no bite, so at this price I still find it a bit pricey.”
