李家圓仔湯

李家圓仔湯 sits on Wufu 4th Road in Kaohsiung's Yancheng, selling red-bean soup, glutinous-ball soup, peanut soup, and mixed ice, with toppings of peanut, mung bean, red bean, Job's tears, taro, and glutinous balls — all one flat price. One diner said “the red-bean-and-glutinous-ball soup is very tasty and cooling, and it seems no matter what you add it's NT$50 — still great value,” another calling it “a simple traditional taste.”

The stall is a roadside setup, toppings neatly in a glass case and ladled to order, seats being orange stools on the roadside cooled only by fans — a bit hot in summer, though it doesn't dent the crowds.

Closed Mondays; otherwise open daily 11:00–19:00.
