For dim sum in Tainan's West Central District, 祿記（包仔祿） is a name that comes up often. It was selected for the “500 Bowls” Taiwanese street-food awards in 2023, earning a two-bowl rating.
The most-ordered items are the pork bun and the crystal dumpling. One diner wrote in a review: “You have to queue and the attitude isn't exactly warm, but it's really good — and it's grandma's neighbor…”
