湯品各有特色，食材新鮮、湯好喝，份量不算小，飯給得算大碗，一份餐點下來是可以完全吃飽的。 店外店內妝點很文青，雖空間不大，但整體乾淨舒適，用餐人客也都井然有序的點餐、自助茶水，能有一個還不錯的用餐體驗。
小燉食室, in Kaohsiung's Qianzhen District, earned a Michelin Bib Gourmand nod in 2025, with a 4.5 rating, featuring clear-simmered soups.
The broths are clean and the ingredients fresh, each soup with its own character; the rice comes in a big bowl, filling on its own. The décor is hipster-casual, the space small but clean and comfortable, with orderly ordering and self-serve tea flow. Regulars even want to bring their own furikake for the rice.
Closed Mondays; otherwise open noon to 2:30pm and 5pm to 8pm.
