A breakfast stall hidden in an alley of Yonghe's traditional market, listed in the Michelin Bib Gourmand. The signature peppery scallion cake has a crisp exterior and a spicy, peppery interior; regulars come specially for it the moment the shop opens, and it often sells out before noon.

The classic combo of handmade dan-bing (egg crepe), xiaolongbao, and hot soy milk is done solidly too. It's the breakfast benchmark New Taipei folks have eaten for decades. Come early, and be ready to queue.
