彰化老担阿璋肉圓

彰化老担阿璋肉圓, in Changhua City, was selected for the “500 Bowls” Taiwanese street-food awards four editions in a row, 2023 to 2026 — one of the few old shops to stay on the list every year.

The signature ba-wan (Taiwanese meatball) is NT$55 each, with plenty of soups to pair: bitter-melon, dried-bamboo, and daylily pork-rib soups and pork-spine-marrow soup are all NT$50, and pork-ball soup is NT$25. Regulars note the setting is clean and the AC cold enough — a place to sit down for a proper meal amid old-street strolling.

Open until 10:30pm, with weekday doors at 9:30am, earlier at 9 on weekends.
