好小子擔仔麵

A dan-zai-noodle and lu-rou-fan shop on Dadun Road in Taichung — sesame-topped braised pork rivaling a Michelin restaurant, seats scarce at mealtimes.

看了食尚玩家推薦,南下台中旅遊,外帶至飯店內品嚐。說真的又一次對台中美食失望,雖不至踩雷,但真的就是一般,慶幸給的份量都很少,不然買了七、八不知怎處理。

好小子擔仔麵 sits on Dadun Road in Taichung's Xitun District, its signatures dan-zai noodles, lu-rou-fan (braised pork rice), and chicken rice, plus sides like sesame-topped braised pork and sweet-potato greens. One diner observed and shared “a very busy shop — seats are scarce and lines long at mealtimes, so I only dared try off-peak; the sweet-potato greens are fresh and good, the fried shallots fragrant, savory-sweet and just right, a hefty portion, and the braised pork crushes a certain Michelin-recommended restaurant — really tasty,” another “food comes fast, and it's tasty.”

Some reviews are more reserved — one diner noted “on a Super Taste recommendation I traveled down to Taichung and took it back to the hotel, and honestly it was another Taichung-food letdown — not a dud, but really just ordinary, thankfully the portions were all small,” so it varies by person — don't go in with too-high expectations.
