榕樹下米苔目*小滿雨生 is a popular local mi-tai-mu specialist in Taitung, its broth light with a savory aroma, the evenly cut mi-tai-mu soaking up the soup, topped with bean sprouts, chives, and fried shallots; the add-on counter has Taiwanese snacks like crisp deep-fried mahi-mahi, pork ribs, and chicken rolls, one diner saying “big bowls, tasty, the deep-fried mahi-mahi and the ribs come in big portions.”
