An old tang-yuan (glutinous rice ball) stall near Dongmen Market, of the savory kind. The pork tang-yuan have thin skins with juicy fillings, paired with a light pork-bone broth that doesn't overpower the flavor; in winter there's a sesame version too.

Open only for lunch and early evening on weekdays, closed weekends. Whether the third generation will take over is still uncertain — the kind of small shop that makes you worry each visit could be one of the last.
