金山客家小館

金山客家小館 (original) is tucked in an alley off Nanjing East Road Section 5 in Songshan, its eggplant stir-fried glossy and flavorful, the cordia sea bass steamed to a delicate flesh, and the garlic-shoot soy chicken fragrant; there's also Hakka salt-baked chicken, braised pork knuckle, and Hakka stir-fry, plus full shared-plate sets (serves 10, NT$6,000 or 7,500) for family or friend gatherings. One diner wrote “Delicious food and friendly service,” another “tasty, good service.”

The décor is calm and wooden, with round and square tables for larger parties; after the meal there's brown-sugar tapioca panna cotta for a light finish.

Open daily lunch 11:30–14:00 (weekends earlier at 11:00, to 14:30) and dinner 17:00 to 21:00.
