原本是打算去吃別家餐廳，結果經過這間店時老婆突然說：「欸，老木在這耶，不然來吃看看好了！」 這間是民生社區的隱藏版澎湖海鮮餐館，主打每日新鮮直送鮮魚料理。從外面看進去就有種老饕才會知道的感覺，還沒到晚餐時間裡面就幾乎坐滿了，我們稍微等一下老闆就馬上幫忙喬出位子，服務態度很好。 因為剛喝完下午茶沒辦法點太多，但看到幾乎每桌都有魚和墨汁炒活卷，感覺都是招牌。這次點了墨汁炒活卷、豬肉煎蛋和客家小炒。 墨汁炒活卷真的很新鮮，口感Q彈，醬汁拿來配飯超讚。豬肉煎蛋也很香，很有古早味，雖然底部有一點點焦，不過不影響整體味道。客家小炒則是完全的白飯殺手，豆乾不是那種乾乾的口感，而是有把醬汁炒進去，每一口都很夠味。 謝謝店員，我們只點一碗白飯，還主動多給一個碗和盤子讓我們分著吃，這種小細節真的很加分。 這次因為肚子空間有限，還有很多想吃的菜沒點到，下次有機會一定會再回訪試試其他海鮮料理。看得出來是一家靠食材和口味在累積客人的店，難怪還沒到用餐時間就快坐滿了！ 人數限制：通常僅接受 6人以上 的團體預約訂位。週末限制：週末假日生意較佳，可能不開放預約訂位或訂位已滿，需依現場排隊狀況為主。現場候位：若是人數較少或週末前往，通常需要直接到現場候位。
老木小店 is tucked in an alley of the Minsheng Community, featuring fresh seafood shipped daily from Penghu: ink-stir-fried live squid, springy with rice-friendly sauce; catch-of-the-day fish (like Napoleon wrasse) made to order; and generous Penghu shrimp. One diner said “the seafood comes fresh from Penghu daily, seasoned not too salty,” another calling it “a hidden Penghu seafood spot in Minsheng Community.”
Unassuming from outside, it often fills up before dinner, with attentive service. Groups of six or more should reserve; smaller parties or holiday visits usually mean waiting on site.
