水仙宮三兄弟魚湯店 is tucked in an alley of the Shuixian Temple market in Tainan's West Central District, run by three brothers, its main draw fresh-caught grouper-head soup, plus stir-fried grouper belly and whole pan-fried fish. One diner said “the grouper-head soup is fresh-sweet, the stir-fried grouper belly crisp, tasty tasty tasty, a clean setting with no fishy stink — the three brothers cook so earnestly, I want to move you to Taipei.”

Beyond fish soup, sides like braised-pork rice, grilled squid, and sausage can be ordered à la carte — a good place to sit down after wandering the Shuixian Temple market.

Closed Mondays; otherwise open daily 6:00am–1:30 and 3:30–7:30pm.
