阿樹擔仔麵 sits on Yongxing Street in Changhua City, a shop carrying on a sixty-year (yi-jia-zi) old-time flavor. The signature clam noodles use fresh clams for a sweet, clean broth, the clams plump and juicy — it was picked for the “500 Bowls” Taiwan Street Food Guide in 2026. The dan-zai noodles come drizzled with minced pork, the oyster noodles piled with fat oysters, and with a crisp-fried chicken roll (ji-juan), fried tofu, and assorted braised sides, it makes an authentic plate of Changhua street food. One diner said “the clam noodles are great, the clams fresh, the broth sweet, and with a bite of crispy chicken roll, delicious,” another simply “a Changhua must-eat noodle shop.”

The shop is clean and tidy, its wall telling the story of A-Shu's hand-made noodles; there's a steady stream of customers at mealtimes, with a parking lot nearby. It opens at 6:30am and closes at 2:30pm, closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays — so come early.
