清蔬 sits on Dongxing Road in Taichung's Xitun District, specializing in vegetarian cuisine from natural ingredients, the menu wide-ranging — from cheese-pull vegetarian pizza and Korean stone-pot bibimbap to cold noodles and hot-and-sour soup; one diner said “fresh, tasty, healthy ingredients — no preservatives, no GMO, no processed food or artificial seasoning, not even pesticide residue,” another “I'll come back — tasty vegetarian!”

Another noted “the pickled-cabbage tofu pot has a bland broth, the pickled cabbage weak in flavor, with two braised tofu pieces, one small frozen-tofu piece, and half a pot of greens — a bit unworthy of the 'tofu pot' name; the knife-cut noodles are machine-made, more like knife-sliced noodles, not chewy enough, even a bit mushy,” so weigh the mixed reviews before ordering.
